Mankato Police have requested an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old man, after an armed robbery at a business in the city last September.

Investigators say Nathan Vigil threatened the store clerk with a knife, threatened to kill her, stole money, and then ran off.

DNA test results from the scene came back last month, linking Vigil to the crime.

On Friday, officers learned that Vigil was in custody in the Steele County Detention Center, and the criminal complaint shows a warrant has been requested to bring him back to Blue Earth County to face charges that include aggravated robbery, simple robbery, and making threats of violence
