Le Sueur County Authorities say a woman currently behind bars is facing charges in connection with four break-ins that occurred in November of 2017.
According to the report, 26-year old Christine Kathryn Rachuy of Mankato is facing multiple burglary and theft charges stemming from burglaries that occurred at cabins and homes on Lake Francis in rural Elysian.
Investigators obtained evidence along with DNA samples from alcohol containers left at the scene of the break-ins. According to the report, the DNA matched that of Rachuy. The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office also gathered cell phone records and interviewed witnesses.
Rachuy is currently being held in the Blue Earth County Jail. Officials say she will be transferred to the Le Sueur County Jail once her criminal matters are complete.
