As the Fourth of July weekend is upon us, Minnesota Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcom has a reminder for young people.
“Remember you are not invincible and neither are your loved ones,” said Malcom. “Cases among people in their 20s are growing. If you’re visiting bars and restaurants, spread out. Wear a mask. Carry Hand Sanitizer. And even if you’re less likely to get really sick, you risk spreading it to people who are more vulnerable.”
MDH reported seven COVID-19 deaths Friday. It is the 10th time in 12 days the state has reported single-digit deaths.
