One of the metrics the Minnesota Department of Health uses to judge how fast COVID-19 in spreading in the state in the rate in which cases double. MDH Commissioner Jan Malcom says that number is moving in the right direction

“It’s at 13 days to double now,” said Malcom. “That’s up from ten days a week ago and eight days the week prior.”

MDH is reporting a total of 17,029 cases in the state. 1949 of which are health care workers. 11540 of those cases no longer need isolation.
