Minnesota saw its largest one-day increase in COVID-19 cases Tuesday. The Minnesota Department of Health says an additional 365 cases were reported for a total of 4181. Kris Ehresman with MDH says Tuesday’s numbers are a trend that will likely continue in the short-term.

“In the next number of days, people should know we will see more cases,” said Ehresman. “With increased testing, we will see more positive tests. That is to be expected. People should not be shocked or concerned.”

The Minnesota Department of Health says 46 percent of the state’s total cases have recovered.
