(St. Paul, MN) — A Minnesota bill that would fine unruly fans at youth sporting events in advancing through the state legislature. A bill was presented in the House last Tuesday that would impose a fine of up to five thousand dollars for assaulting an official during a youth sporting event. The bill would include all forms of interference with events. The House Public Safety committee voted unanimously to push the bill to the floor Tuesday, where the full House is considering the measure.
