A three-judge panel of the Minnesota Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on several cases in Mankato on Thursday.

They include an appeal by Jerrad Juhl, who was convicted in Brown County in 2016 of trying to hire an underage girl for sex and other related charges; an appeal connected to a large-scale hog farm in southeast Minnesota; and a rural Mankato man convicted in Blue Earth County of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old.

The Court will hear the oral arguments, which are open to the public, in Courtroom E of the Blue Earth County Justice Center in Mankato beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The Court of Appeals routinely hears oral arguments in communities across Minnesota, and officials say they do so to ensure access to justice.
