Three people are facing a variety of charges after an investigation by the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force.

Agents say it began when 35-year-old Ronald Wilson stole his grandfather’s handgun from the man’s glove compartment. He’s charged with two counts related to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The gun was turned over to police by 35-year-old Bradley Marek of Mankato, who said the stolen gun turned up at his home when Wilson was visiting and another man stole it from Wilson’s pocket while he was sleeping.

A search warrant was issued for the home, and agents found a gun and ammunition, syringes and other drug supplies, and meth.

Marek is charged with three felony drug possession counts, the most serious of which can mean 30 years in prison if he’s convicted.

In addition, 32-year-old Shauna Caddell of St. Peter is accused of felony drug possession.
