Tickets for the Minnesota State Fair are going up by another dollar this summer. The State Fair’s Board of Managers approved regular gate admission of 18 dollars for people ages 13 to 64 and 16 dollars for kids and seniors. Officials also approved more than nine-million dollars in maintenance projects and capital work that had been suspended since 2019 due to COVID. Retiring Fair Manager Jerry Hammer said in statement, “Last year’s fair lays the foundation for us to present another world-class event, plus we’re now back on track with taking care of our beautiful fairgrounds.” Pre-fair discount tickets are on sale for 14 dollars through February 1st.
