Two Minnesota towns make a list of the 50 Most Magical Winter Towns by Trips to Discover dot com. Stillwater is noted for its historic buildings and homes, 42-inch annual snowfall, and ski resorts. This year’s World Snow Sculpting Championship is being held in Stillwater. And, the travel website puts Winona on its Most Magical Winter Places List. They write that Winona becomes a snowy wonderland in the winter, with a Christmas market, and ice walls that cascade hundreds of feet from its towering bluffs.
