The state’s unemployment rate has dropped to a low not seen in a dozen-and-a-half years.

State job analyst Steve Hine said the state has seen robust job growth over the last three months and, “That three month total of 31,800 jobs now is the third highest we’ve ever seen dating back to 1990.”
