The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said that a missing 13-year-old has been found and is safe.

The BCA says 13-year-old Jenup Chop has been found and is safe.

The BCA and Carver County Sheriff’s Office Monday asked the public to help them find Jenup Chop, who left his home early in the morning in an Uber. Investigators say the teen was dropped off at Highway 60 and Interstate 35, where it is believed he met up with his non-custodial father, 43-year-old Stephen Chop.

They were said to have ties to the Austin area and possibly Owatonna.
