Minnesota’s Attorney General is announcing a total of five major settlements with opioid manufacturers and pharmacies. In a news release, Keith Ellison said the state could get over 235-million dollars for drug treatment and prevention programs after settling with Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Allergan. Ellison explained that these companies have caused a crisis of “death and destruction” throughout the state.
