(Minneapolis, MN) — The cops facing federal charges related to George Floyd’s death in Minnesota are pleading not guilty. Derek Chauvin, J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao entered their pleas on Tuesday. They’re accused of not allowing Floyd to enjoy his constitutional right to be free from suffering unnecessary force. Chauvin is serving more than two decades in prison after being convicted of murder and manslaughter charges earlier this year.
