It’s road construction season in Minnesota. With more than 230 construction projects planned in the next year aim to help maintain Minnesota’s roads, bridges and transportation infrastructure and improve safety and mobility, MnDOT’s Jake Loesch is reminding drivers:

“To slow down and take extra caution if you drive through work zones we’ve seen a really concerning increase in traffic fatalities and unsafe driving habits over the last two years and during the COVID pandemic.”

Loesch says you can visit 511.org for the latest road conditions and construction updates.
