The special primary election for state representative for District 23B is Monday.
Republican Businessman Jeremy Munson of Lake Crystal is the GOP endorsed candidate.
Watonwan County Commissioner Scott Sanders drew the endorsement of former 23B state representative Tony Cornish. Cornish stepped down from the seat after several sexual harassment allegations.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to at 8 p.m. Absentee ballots have to be turned in by 8 p.m.
The special election on Monday, February 12th will pit the winner of today’s race against DFL-endorsed school social worker Melissa Wagner of rural Lake Crystal.
