The Minnesota State Patrol reports a motorcyclist was injured in an accident approximately seven miles east of Gaylord on Sunday morning.

According to the report, a 59-year old man from Mankato was driving a Chevy pickup and was stopped at the stop sign at Sibley County Road 9 and Highway 19 at 10:12 a.m. The pickup driver proceeded southbound across Highway 19 and saw a motorcycle at the last second and attempted to avoid a crash. Troopers say the westbound motorcycle, driven by a 63-year old man from Chaska then collided with the front of the pickup.

Injuries are unknown at this time, but the crash report says North Aircare assisted at the scene.

The names of those involved in the crash have not been released.
