(Mankato, MN) — Minnesota State University Mankato’s Homecoming Week is back. University officials say the homecoming events begin today, with this year’s theme being “Maverick State Fair.” Some of the events planned include a kickball tournament, a bonfire, and a lip-syncing contest. This year’s musical guest performer will be Jesse McCartney and he is set to hit the stage on October 1st. The return of Homecoming Week comes after it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
