Minnesota’s newest state representative has introduced a bill that could lower the cost of health care for some.

Republican District 23B state Representative, Jeremy Munson.

“Healthcare is a very important issue for the district; I think one of the largest issues facing our farmers,” said Republican Representative Jeremy Muson of Lake Crystal.

Munson said the bill would require doctors offices, clinics, and hospitals to make the costs of common medical treatments public with, “Price transparency at the doctor’s office and the pharmacy so that we can lower costs through more competition.”

Another bill Munson is sponsoring would apply the same requirements to pharmacies.
