A couple from New Ulm is facing felony charges after officers found methamphetamine in their home, in the presence of a child.
The criminal complaint shows that the four-year-old was taken into protective custody after the boy was found upstairs and unsupervised when they served a search warrant at the home of 48-year-old Ronald Leske and 36-year-old Krystal Haas. Investigators say there was a dresser nearby that contained 12 grams of meth, and within reach was a sippy cup and a bowl of snacks.
Also found in the home were meth pipes and seven surveillance cameras.
Leske was arrested at the scene, but Hass wasn’t home at the time of the search.
They’re charged with felony drug possession and storing meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child.
