Troopers with Minnesota State Patrol say nine semis were tipped along I-35 E by straight line winds. Northbound lanes between Faribault Road and the Medford exit were closed for about an hour yesterday afternoon after the area was hit by 40 to 45 mile per hour winds and a severe thunderstorm. The lanes reopened about an hour later. No injuries were reported from the flipped semis.
