Officials say there were no arrests and no property damage or injuries during the first week of jury selection in the Derek Chauvin trial. State Patrol chief, Colonel Matt Langer:

“Many people around Minneapolis and the State of Minnesota have been part of assuring that every protest and every event that has happened so far has been peaceful.”

State public safety officials say at this point they don’t have any credible information on potential civil unrest but are actively monitoring the situation.
