An 11-year-old girl from North Mankato will be recognized nationally by Justice, the #1 destination for all things tween girls, during its first ever Live Justice Awards next week.

The Live Justice Awards are part of a campaign to bring awareness to their philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run, and are awarded to girls who embody the Live Justice and Girls on the Run values.

Chloe Aanenson has volunteered and fundraised for local non-profits and events, including Girls on the Run of Greater Mankato, YWCA Mankato, Miracle League, Fallenstein Playground, Stuff-A-Truck and the Greater Mankato Area United Way.

Chloe will be receiving the award in the category of ‘Live Together,’ awarded to a girl whose mission it is to make sure nobody is left behind, which directly ties to her volunteerism for the Fallenstein Playground Board of Directors as a junior representative and fundraising champion.

The Live Justice Awards will take place on Tuesday in Los Angeles and will stream live at 8:00 p.m. local time on the Justice YouTube channel.
