New Ulm Police have made an arrest in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Church burglary.

Senior Investigator Jeff Hohensee says an 18-year-old woman was taken into custody and later released so they can process evidence and continue this investigation.

Hohensee says they are sending physical, digital, and video evidence to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for enhancement and comparisons.

While he says they are making good progress on the case, they still need help from the public.

They have posted footage of the burglary as it occurred on the New Ulm Police Department’s Facebook page, hoping someone will recognize the suspects.

New Ulm Police have also increased the reward to $600 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
