(Fridley, MN) — A man is dead following a car accident in Fridley. Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred Saturday afternoon near the 53-hundred block of University Avenue Northeast. According to reports, one SUV collided with another SUV, and the second vehicle drifted off-road before crashing into a pole. Police say the man driving the first SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman driving the second SUV was uninjured. The accident remains under investigation.
