State health officials are reporting that more than 50-percent of Minnesotans aged 65 and up have received at least one-dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This comes as the state saw a record-setting weekend of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered. On Saturday, about 56-thousand doses were given out, but the state broke a record on Sunday with about 70-thousand doses administered in one-day. The state’s vaccine rollout is about to get a boost too as the FDA approved Johnson and Johnson’s single-dose COVID-19 vaccine over the weekend, with shipments expected to arrive today.
