A Forest Lake woman is facing two theft-related charges after being identified in a video posted on social media as one of two people involved in thefts from Again Thrift and More in Mankato and New Ulm.

Mankato Police say store management discovered cash drawers at both stores were short in early May and more than $320 was missing from the Mankato store.

Surveillance video from the New Ulm location shows a man and a woman enter the store on May 1st, and the male leaning over the counter near the register. They are also shown appearing to each conceal a pair of shoes before walking out without paying for them.

Still shots of the couple were posted on the business’s Facebook page, and the woman was identified as 45-year-old Rachel Trottier in comments on the photo. The criminal complaint shows police confirmed her identity, as well as the name of the man – who has not yet been charged.
