Former Republican Governor Tim Pawlenty will be in Mankato Monday, talking about his campaign to get his old job back.
“We have big challenges, and I think I can be a big help, so we’re looking forward to trying to articulate a message around what we can do to slow down health care costs, improve schools, and lower the tax burden – especially for moderate income people,” he said.
Pawlenty announced earlier this month that he was running for a third, non-consecutive term as Minnesota governor.
He did not participate in Friday’s GOP gubernatorial debate in Mankato.
Pawlenty will be at Pub 500 on South Front Street in Mankato Monday from noon to 1:30 p.m.
