A pregnant Mankato woman is facing two counts of assault and two of disorderly conduct, after an attack on staff at Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Mankato late last month, and investigators say she had drugs in her system.

Mankato Police say 25-year-old Alice Olango threw her full dinner tray at an emergency room technician, and when staff tried to move her into a seclusion room she tried to kick one employee and struck them in the back. She’s also accused of grabbing onto the worker’s hair and refusing to let go and trying the bite them as well.

The criminal complaint shows Olango kneed another hospital employee in the stomach.

Documents show that Olango was five months pregnant at the time and had cocaine in her system.
