AJR just released their fourth single off of the highly anticipated album “OK ORCHESTRA.” The band , comprised of three brothers, Alex, Jack, and Ryan, found a way to keep their same sound that fans love while digging deeper into the meaning of this album.

“Way Less Sad” is an open discussion about mental health and how it impacts people. The pre-chorus calls out the way people will say that they are fine although they may not feel that way, while the chorus appreciates the idea of making progress “Don’t you love it? Don’t you love it? No, I ain’t happy yet, but I’m way less sad.”

“‘Way Less Sad’ is a song about how we’re really feeling in this moment,” the band explains, “So much of last year felt apocalyptic and this year we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Things aren’t back to normal yet but we should be celebrating the small wins, even if they seem trivial.”

“OK ORCHESTRA” is set to release on March 26th, 2021.
