(St. Paul, MN) — State Rep. John Thompson says he will continue in his role as an independent. This comes after he was voted out of the House DFL caucus by its members Tuesday. Despite calls for his resignation, Thompson says he will not leave and will continue serving his district. The Representative was involved in controversy following a traffic stop and old allegations of domestic violence.
