(Minneapolis, MN) — A new report shows Minneapolis poorly responded to protests and unrest after George Floyd’s murder. A risk management company released an 86-page study this week that also indicated Mayor Jacob Frey [[ fry ]] failed to implement the city’s emergency protocols. The mayor reacted by asking city staff to form a plan that implements the report’s many recommendations. One of the proposals is to increase police training on controversial crowd control tactics.
