(Virginia, MN) — A school district in Virginia, Minnesota is being sued by parents over its mask mandate. Officials say parents at the Rock Ridge Public School District have filed a lawsuit against the district’s mask policy. In the suit, the coalition of parents are calling for the district’s mask mandate to be lifted as they feel there are no “widely accepted medical or scientific studies” that support masks as an effective way to slow down the spread of COVID-19. According to reports, nearly 300 parents are listed as plaintiffs. The Rock Ridge Public School District has asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
