(Minneapolis, MN) — Crews continue to make security improvements to government buildings in Minneapolis before the murder trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin. The defendant has been charged with the death of George Floyd last May. Workers can be seen placing plywood over windows outside a high-rise building across from Government Plaza. Chauvin’s trial is set for March 8th in a courtroom at the Hennepin County Government Center. The trial could last until mid-April.
