The U-S Senate has passed a $470 billion coronavirus relief package. The bipartisan measure puts around 370-billion dollars into a small business loan fund and Minnesota Senator Tina Smith says…

“So many of them had to shut down literally overnight, and then even businsesses that are still operating are often finding big struggles so we wanted to be able to replenish the paycheck protection plan, which has been such an important help to small businesses.”

The bill also targets $75 billion to help hospitals handle the surge in infections and $25 billion to dramatically improve the nation’s coronavirus testing capabilities. The House is expected to vote on the measure Thursday. President Trump has said he supports the bill.
