The Minnesota Department of Public Safety reports it was a deadly Memorial Day weekend with six deaths in six separate crashes around the state.

Preliminary numbers show 118 people have died in traffic crashes this year on Minnesota roads, compared to 115 at this time last year.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports it responded to 228 property damage crashes over the weekend, along with 37 personal injury and five serious injury crashes.

Law Enforcement also arrested 374 people for DWI over the holiday weekend. Do date, there have been 10-thousand 566 DWI arrests in 2018.
