(Minneapolis, MN) — A sixth person is pleading guilty in the Feeding Our Future fraud case. Liban Yasin Alishire admitted yesterday in a Minneapolis federal courtroom to skimming more than 700-thousand dollars from the Federal Child Nutrition Program from late 2020 to early 2022. Court records show Alishire acted as part of a scheme to grossly misrepresent the number of underprivileged children served free meals by his Community Enhancement Services and Lake Street Kitchen. He is one of 50 people charged in the massive fraud case.
