(St. Paul, MN)  —  A new proposal by a group of Minnesota House DFLers would give motorists in the state a holiday from paying state gas taxes.  The proposal would suspend the state gas tax from Memorial Day to Labor Day as a way to help Minnesotans deal with inflation.  Representative Zack Stephenson says gas prices are causing stress for a lot of families.  The gas tax is 28-point-five cents per gallon.
