Minnesota has 89 more deaths from COVID-19–the third-highest daily death toll so far, with over 35-hundred new cases. State Health Department Medical Director, Doctor Ruth Lynfield says about 50 percent of COVID transmission can occur in people who don’t have symptoms or haven’t developed them yet:

“I recommend having a very low threshold that if you have a new symptom, you should be tested. If you have a known exposure to someone who has COVID, you should be tested.”

…five to seven days after the exposure, Lynfield says.
