A 21-year-old Stillwater woman is facing three drug possession charges, after a Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped her for speeding on Saturday.
The criminal complaint shows that Christina Dann was clocked at 72 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone, and the deputy smelled the scent of raw marijuana when he approached the vehicle.
Dann handed over a roach and admitted to smoking it in the car, and the deputy says she told him there was nothing else in the vehicle and she wasn’t going to lie.
However, she then handed over a two different bags of marijuana. Investigators say a search of the vehicle after Dann’s tearful arrest turned up marijuana wax, another Ziplock of marijuana, and more than $1,100 in cash.
The deputy said Dann admitted the drugs were hers but denied selling drugs…and then said she planned to sell some of the stash to a friend in Mankato. The deputy informed her that would constitute selling drugs.
