A 41-year-old Mankato father is accused of disorderly conduct for his behavior in the administrative office at Mankato East High School.
Mankato Police say David Nelson and his wife were in the office because of his son’s behavior issues, and during the conversation with the vice principal Nelson began swearing and told his wife they were leaving. Before walking out, though, the victim said Nelson threatened that he would find him later, which the vice principal took as a threat.
The criminal complaint shows that Nelson admitted in a police interview to making the intimidating comments.
Court records show Nelson was previously convicted of disorderly conduct in 2009 and interfering with a police officer in 2012.
He’s been banned from all district property.
