(Plymouth, MN) — A Chicago man accused of killing a youth baseball coach on Highway 169 in Plymouth is now being held on three-point-five million dollars bail. Jamal Smith has been charged with first-degree murder while committing a drive-by shooting, second-degree murder drive-by shooting, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. The defendant is accused of shooting and killing Jay Boughton, who was driving home from a baseball game with his son.
