T-bone accident in Saint Peter sends two to the hospital

Two people were taken to the hospital on Wednesday night after a crash in Saint Peter. According to the report, 18-year old Catrina Alexandra Toeben of Milaca was driving northbound on Washington Avenue when she failed to yield and was t-boned by a Ford Ranger that was heading east on Highway 22.  The Minnesota State Patrol reports Toeben suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato. The driver of the Ranger, 45-year old Jocelyn Raabolle of Mankato was transported to River's Edge Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Troopers report the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m.

Two Blue Earth men hospitalized following crash in Faribault County

The Minnesota State Patrol reports two men were injured in a crash seven miles southwest of the City of Blue Earth on Thursday morning. Troopers say 21-year old Mathew George Bell of Blue Earth was driving a Ford pick-up southbound on 330th Avenue in Faribault County when he entered the intersection with 85th Street and collided with a Chevy truck. The accident occurred at 6:37 a.m., according to the report.  Bell and the driver of the Chevy, 18-year old Zachary Wade Buseman of Blue Earth sustained non-life threatening injuries. A New Ulm man was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center following an accident Wednesday morning on Highway 14 in New Ulm. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 34-year old Gary Lee Lienig was stopped on County Road 37 when he went to make a left turn on westbound Highway 14 shortly before 8 a.m. A semi traveling eastbound on Highway 14 failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the Ford truck that Lienig was driving. Two injured in Nicollet County crash on Saturday

Two people were injured Saturday evening in a crash six miles east of Nicollet. The Minnesota State Patrol reports 62-year old Leann Rae Sallstrom of Eden Prairie was driving westbound on Highway 99 at Nicollet County Road 13 when she collided with a Dodge at the intersection. The report says the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m.  Sallstrom suffered non-life threatening injures. The driver of the Dodge, 61-year old William Warren Macemon of Mankato was also injured. Both drivers were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato.

Mankato woman hospitalized following crash with semi

Troopers report a Mankato woman was taken to the hospital on Monday night after colliding with a semi at the Highway 22 and Madison Avenue roundabout. According to the report, 67-year old Deann Marie Friedrichs was driving eastbound when she struck the side of the tractor-trailer. Friedrichs suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato. Officials say the driver of the semi was not injured. The accident was reported at 7:10 p.m.

Nicollet man injured after colliding with semi on HWY 169

A Nicollet man was hospitalized on Monday after colliding with a semi near Le Sueur. The Minnesota State Patrol reports 31-year old Mattew David Anthony was driving southbound on Highway 169 when he rear-ended a semi. Anthony suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato.  Authorities say the semi driver, 63-year old Robert Mulligan of Owensboro, Kentucky was uninjured. The accident was reported shortly before 10 p.m.
