Crash in Cleveland sends North Mankato woman to the hospital

A North Mankato woman sustained non-life threatening injuries on Wednesday morning in two-vehicle accident in Cleveland. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 48-year old Monica Ann Peterson was driving a Toyota west on Highway 99 when a Buick traveling on Highway 15 failed to yield and the vehicles collided in the intersection. The crash was reported shortly before 7 a.m. Peterson was transported to River's Edge Hospital in Saint Peter. The driver of the Buick, 33-year old Renee Laura Scheier of Bloomington was uninjured.
