MnDOT is urging motorists to use caution when heading through highway work zones this Memorial Day. Work on most projects is suspended for the holiday weekend, but travelers will still encounter bypasses, lane closures and detours. MnDOT is recommending that motorists consider taking alternate routes.  Highway projects already under construction in southern Minnesota include; I-35 south of Owatonna, Highway 169 from Saint Peter to Le Sueur, Highway 14 in New Ulm and Hwy 63 north of Rochester.
