North Mankato crews working to fix sewer main collapse on North River Drive

An early Wednesday morning sewer main collapse is impacting businesses and homes in lower North Mankato. Around 4 a.m., City Officials say the line on North River Drive, near Roadhouse 169 collapsed and homeowners are reporting that sewer lines have backed up into their basements. The City has since installed pumps to reduce further sewer backup and will remain in place while crews repair the pipe, which is expected to be back in operation on Friday.
