Things I’ve Noticed

I saw my 2 y/o niece over the weekend, dang if those young kids do everything you do. A special sorry to my sister. Sunscreen is an important accessory when attending outdoor weddings this summer. Aloe is also an appropriate massage oil. Every time I check my pockets for my wallet, keys, and phone, I do 25% of the Macarena. I've noticed this Saturday is 4th of July, Independence Day. for the first time in 15 years, I do not work one single event on the 4th... and I HAVE NO PLANS. Sadly, this is what keeps me up at night. [...]

Reality is the worst game with the best graphics Mankato handled things really well this weekend, people are hurting and we all need to listen to each other. I'm not saying I'm a procrastinator, but it took 6 years and this weekend I finished landscaping around my house. 2020 is the slowest moving fastest year of our entire lives! When you say "Forward" or "Back", your lips move in those directions That's things I've noticed this week.   - Stunt Monkey

Traffic was obviously up this weekend, I noticed Friday night a lot more traffic in-store and Covid-19 is still a thing, so if you're going to wear your mask... wear it over your mouth and nose! Not just your chin!! National BBQ Day was on Saturday, it has officially become my third favorite holiday behind National Pizza Day and Independence Day! Had ribs, chicken, pork loin, wings, and more! Apparently TV networks didn't the report we had nothing but rain on Sunday, I could have used some help watching something. Weather isn't something I thought effected me, but the weather over [...]

Traffic was up this week, I could definitely tell people were on the move. I noticed I had turned the heat back on this weekend. Just at 63 Hate to point it out, but again noticed so many of you wearing these facemasks as chin warmers... how does that work? I noticed I un-officially have a cap for certain activities, grilling, gardening, kayaking... this is not weird The celebrities who are truly good people are stepping up and are very active during this time... the ones who are not good people are fairly quiet or the Kardashians And that's Things I've [...]

Looked to me that we all did an amazing job of social distancing again this weekend, mix that with the hope we are almost out of this stay at home order. Nostalgia is hitting hard, remember when we use to do things. I rode 37 miles on my bicycle this weekend, it got me thinking... It must have been really hard for the creator of bicycles to convince people that it is possible for almost anyone to ride it. And Before bicycles, what was remembering how to do something, as easy as... We Minnesotans love when things are created here, we [...]

After this weekend, it's become very obvious that 4-5 weeks of quarantine is all people can really handle. People are starting to fall apart, watching them on social media post things they never would have. And do things in real life they never would, like exercise?! You've probably never seen your grandparents jump. Reading the complete instructions on how to make things is like the Terms on websites... you click yah I've read this, and then come to find out you have wait 6 hours as your cheesecake chills! If Waldo changed his shirt, literally no one could find him A [...]

Winter the 3rd time around really sucks. I'm fairly certain the roads suck worse now than they did all winter. Social distancing has not been good for our hygiene. Dogs listen to us talk all day, but if they bark for more than a minute we tell them to stop. Creative photos from drive-by friends were all the rage this Easter. The exact same food always tastes better off of somebody else's plate... I miss other people. That's things I've notciced for this week. - Stunt Monkey

As Mankatoans we thinking parking is pretty horrible, we would not do well in st. Paul. The state of Rhode Island is 37 miles wide and 48 miles long, home to 23 cities. Betty White is seriously older than SLICED BREAD! When a bar has signs that read new ownership, new menu, new experiences it translates into everything you loved about this place is now gone. You think a baby in a bar is weird, you should have seen what a baby in an axe-throwing place looked like. When you show up to a comedy show on valentine's day, people assume [...]

Everyone searched for J Lo and Shakira's age during half time. There are so many Chief fans in MN. Someone is faking it. Patrick Mahomes is only 24 years old, made $5 million this season, has won the Super Bowl, MVP of that Super Bowl... and is apparently a stand-up guy. Vikings have Kirk Cousins. Over the weekend, the sun finally came out, after 231 days of grey skies, people lost their minds in the sunshine! Donkey Kong... was a Gorilla named Donkey. Kong. That's Things I've Noticed for this week. - Stunt Monkey

Once again weather-related... why are people so dumb? So many tennis shoes while at the Anthony Ford Pond Hockey Classic My face felt the least fat in my hockey helmet than ever before. Yay! What is happens to women's shirts? How is it that in the dead of winter, is now popular to miss the entire bottom half of your shirts? In relation to that, I'm old. During Maverick hockey Saturday night I saw a young woman with giant holes in her jeans... I had to stop her and asked if she was ok. I wasn't sure if the snowblower caught [...]
