Minnesota prison officials say three correctional officers have resigned after the killing of one of their colleagues. Officials say Officer Joseph Gomm was attacked Wednesday at the state's flagship prison in Stillwater by an inmate serving time for homicide. Authorities haven't released details about the assault. Wanted man leads local authorities on high-speed chase

A potentially armed felon took authorities on a high-speed pursuit reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour in Blue Earth County and eventually into Le Sueur County on Thursday. The chase was initiated in Mankato around 2:40 p.m. and went on Highway 14 past Eagle Lake and then on Highway 60 towards Madison Lake.
