Strong thunderstorms pushed through the KTOE Listening area on Monday afternoon, knocking out power at numerous locations shortly after 4 p.m. Xcel Energy reported over 1-thousand customers were impacted in Cleveland, Kasota, Le Sueur, Mankato, Saint Peter, Janesville, Waseca and Waterville. Trees were reported down in the impacted areas along with power lines. BENCO Electric Cooperative reports there are outages in Eagle Lake along with areas west and north of Mankato.
