Pre-registration for Primary Election ends on Tuesday

Tuesday marks the deadline for voters to pre-register for the upcoming Primary Election on August 14. Residents have until 11:59 p.m. to register on the Minnesota Secretary of State's website or by 5 p.m. for paper registrations at Blue Earth County Elections. Blue Earth County seeking election judges ahead of primary and general election

Blue Earth County is looking for election judges in preparation for the August 14 primary election and the November 6 general election. Election judges are responsible for setting up and tearing down a polling location, registering voters, provide ballots, assist voters and oversee ballot-counting machines. State law requires judges to be eligible to vote. Pay for the position varies on precinct policy, but is at least minimum wage.
